On July 30th, a study by the personal finance website WalletHub was released that compared public school systems in 50 states and the District of Columbia across 25 measures of quality and safety, ranging from the pupil-to-teacher ratio to the dropout rate to median standardized-test scores. NJ’s public schools once again ranked second best in the nation. The site ranked NJ Public Schools second last year as well, just behind Massachusetts.
